Application of Frequency-following Servocompensator to Tracking Control
نویسندگان
چکیده
A servocompensator with performance of frequency following is applied to a tracking control system that simulates disk drive tracking systems. In such systems, the misalignment of the disk causes the reference signal to include sinusoidal components. The applied servocompensator is characterized by using signals synchronized with the reference signal in calculating the control input by means of convolution integral. Since the transmission zeros of the closed-loop system are generated at the same locations as the unstable poles of the reference signal automatically, the pole-zero cancellation necessary for asymptotic regulation is achieved. The efficacy of the servocompensator was confirmed experimentally. Copyright © 2002 IFAC

An indirect adaptive servocompensator for signals of unknown frequencies with application to nanopositioning
We propose an adaptive servocompensator utilizing frequency estimation and slow adaptation for systems subject to inputs of unknown frequencies. We show that the proposed controller can achieve zero tracking error for a class of periodic references and disturbances, including scenarios specifically relevant to piezo-actuated nanopositioning systems. In particular, for the case of a sinusoidal re...
متن کاملOptimal Tradeoff Between H2 Performance and Tracking Accuracy in Servocompensator Synthesis
The problem of optimal HI disturbance rejection while tracking uncertain constant or sinusoidal reference commands is considered. The internal model principle is used to ensure that the tracking error approaches zero asymptotically. Necessary conditions are given for controllers that minimize an HI disturbance rejection cost plus a worst-case integral square tracking error for transient trackin...
متن کاملSliding Mode Control For Heartbeat Electrocardiogram Tracking Problem
In this paper, we have exploited the first-order sliding mode control method to track the ECG data of the human heart by three different nonlinear control laws. In order to lessen the intrinsic chattering of the classic sliding mode control system, smooth function approximations of the control input, by means of the hyperbolic tangent and the saturation function, were used. The fast Fourier tra...

Introduction: Alveolar osteitis (AO) is one of the most common postoperative complications after third molar surgery. Various techniques have been used to reduce the risk of AO. The aim of the current study was to evaluate the effect of Chlorhexidine (CHX) bioadhesive gel in preventing the development of AO. Methods: Patients with bilateral impacted mandibular third molars underwent surgical ex...
متن کاملApplication of Independent Joint Control Strategy for Discrete-Time Servo Control of Overhead Cranes
In this study, a new servo control system is presented for the overhead crane based on discrete-time state feedback approach. It provides both robust tracking and load swing suppression. Inspired from independent joint and computed torque control in robot manipulator field, a new model is derived in which the crane actuators are considered as the main plant. The crane nonlinearities are then tr...
